About me
Born in Asheville, North Carolina, I grew up onstage and backstage at Asheville Community Theatre, where a lifelong passion for the arts first took root. After earning two college degrees in Boston and spending time living in London, I made Wilmington, North Carolina, my home. My career has spanned acting, graphic design, talent representation, arts leadership, and entrepreneurship. I worked as a talent agent for film and television actors, founded imageBLEND Promotions, and in 2012 opened TheatreNOW, Wilmington's first dinner theatre, which I sold in early 2020. I also founded the nonprofit Theatre Network of Wilmington/Superstar Academy to expand access to theatre education for youth and underserved communities. I executive produced the Women of Wilmington (WOW) Project celebrating influential local women the arts, and have served in numerous arts leadership roles, including the Boards of Trustees for Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts and the Arts Council of Wilmington. My contributions have been recognized with multiple YWCA Woman of Achievement in the Arts nominations and induction into my high school's Alumni Artist Hall of Fame in 2025.
As an actor, my film and television credits include The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Runarounds, Haunted Mansion, Outer Banks, Ozark, The Act, Good Girls, The Glorias, Prisoners, Bolden, Secrets & Lies, Eastbound & Down, and numerous other productions for Amazon, Disney, Netflix, Hulu, HBO, ABC, FOX, Hallmark, and Tyler Perry Studios, along with regional and national commercial campaigns. Onstage, favorite performances include Into the Woods, Shakespeare in Love, Steel Magnolias, Hair, A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and more than 30 years of productions with Pied Piper Children's Theatre. I have also directed and produced numerous theatrical productions. Today, I continue to pursue acting while expanding my work as a painter and author. I am currently completing and illustrating my first children's book and live in Wilmington with my son, Ashton, and our rescue Shiba Inu, Adrian.
